Atelier Blocks

The short version

Atelier Blocks has no accounts, no ads, no in-app purchases, no analytics and no tracking. Your progress stays on your device. The only thing that ever leaves your device is a request for the weather, if live weather is on.

What stays on your device

Your progress, settings, reading positions and the last weather report are saved only on your device. Deleting the app deletes them.
All books in the library are included in the app. Reading them sends nothing anywhere.

Live weather (optional)

To show your local weather in the atelier, the app picks a town from your device's time zone (on the device) and asks the weather service Open-Meteo (open-meteo.com) for that town's forecast. Only coordinates rounded to about 10 km are sent.
If you choose to search for a town, the name you type is sent to Open-Meteo's town search.
If you turn on Use my location (GPS), your device asks for permission. Your position is then read only while the app is open, and sent rounded to about 1 km. It is never read in the background.
Like any website, Open-Meteo receives your device's IP address with each request. We never receive or store any of this.
You can turn live weather off at any time in Settings ▸ Weather. The game works fully without it.

What we don't do

We don't collect, sell or share personal data. We don't track you across apps or websites. We don't knowingly collect anything from children, or from anyone else.

En bref

Atelier Blocks n'a ni compte, ni publicité, ni achat intégré, ni statistiques d'usage, ni pistage.

Open-Meteo.
